Top Hat Stage School’s Youth Theatre course for 2012 will be the fantastic “We Will Rock You”.

We are seeking talented singers, dancers and actors to take part in this fantastic production aged 12 – 18 years. Auditions are taking place on Monday 5th December 2011 at Stanbrough School, Lemsford Lane, Welwyn Garden City 6 – 8pm.

The final production will be taking place from the 7th – 10th May 2012 at the SandPit Theatre, St. Albans. The show will feature a full live band as all Top Hat Youth theatre courses do and all we need now is our cast. Those that are successful to gain a place in the cast will be needed every Monday evening at Stanbrough school between 5 – 8pm.

ABOUT THE SHOW:

We Will Rock You is a Rock musical based on the songs of Queen and named after their hit single of the same name. The musical was written by British comedian and author Ben Elton in collaboration with Queen. The musical opened in the West End and has become the longest-running musical at the Dominion Theatre. The story takes place in a tongue-in-cheek dystopian future where originality and individualism are shunned, and a lone "Dreamer" appears who can fulfill a prophecy that will enable the return of rock 'n roll.

There are lots of amazing roles on offer, as well as a very important chorus. With amazing songs and fantastic futuristic set and costume concepts, this is a musical any performer will want to take part in.
