TEACHERS:
DRAMA TEACHER: SUZY DUXBURY
Suzy has 8 years experience of working with and teaching children. Since gaining her Diploma in teaching Speech & Drama with Trinity Guildhall, she has taught at private drama schools, state schools and councils. She has taught several workshops and her performance credits include; The White Room at the Royal Court, Jack and the Beanstalk and Alice in Wonderland. Suzy is also an avid costume maker and has made costumes for several local productions from 17th Century dress to the 1950s.
SINGING TEACHER: DUNCAN RUTHERFORD Duncan trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts graduating with an MA in Performance as well as graduating from Bretton Hall College with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre. Duncan's professional credits include: Vocal Coach in ITV's Four Weddibngs, Benny in Waterloo and Judas in Godspell.
DANCE TEACHER: TONI-MARIE THORPE Toni-Marie has a BA (Hons) in Dance Studies gained at Middlesex University, as well as training in RAD Ballet, ISTD Tap and IDTA Jazz. Toni-Marie works as a professional dancer with Uchenna Dance Company and her performance credits include: ‘Serious About Streetdance’ at the Indigo2, O2; ‘Resolution!’ at the Robin Howard Theatre, The Place; ‘Live Vibe’ at Sadlers Wells; ‘Dances then and Now’ at ArtsDepot, as well as various performances at The Young Vic Theatre, Millfield Theatre and the Bernie Grants Arts Centre. Her TV credits include Eastenders, MI High and a number of commercials. Toni-Marie has taught for many dance and theatre schools across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and London, and is currently working as a freelance Street Dance teacher for the Redborne Sports and Schools Partnership.
TINY TOPPERS TEACHER: KIRSTY NEILSON Kirsty graduated from Rose Bruford College in 2009 with BA Hons in Actor musicianship. Since graduating theatre credits include, To die a second time at The Arcola theatre. Last Post, Theatre Royal Bath, Lead role, Ruth Ellis in the sold out run of The Girl from Brixton at The Brockley Jack, Children of Darkness at The Leicester Square Theatre, Liquorice and smoke rings at The New Wolsey Theatre and most recently she is currently in a new adaptation of Strindburg's Chamber plays, 'Strindburg's Appartment'. Kirsty has previously taught for 3 years at the Rose Bruford Young People Theatre Workshop, where she directed 3 full shows and also assisted directed on two.
