There is quite a lot going on this year at Top Hat. With dozens of shows happening, there is sure to be something for everyone!

This July, the students will be working towards their summer show called: “Top Hat on the Streetz”, which will be a high energy street dance show featuring funky dance routines and songs. The show will take place at Campus West Theatre in Welwyn Garden City. Each Top Hat School will have their own unique show on the following dates: Fri 1st July = POTTERS BAR Show at 7pm

(kids needed at 4.30pm).

Sat 2nd July = ST. ALBANS AM show at 11.30

(kids needed at 9am).

Sat 2nd July = ST. ALBANS PM Show at 3.30

(kids needed at 1pm)

Sat 2nd July = WELWYN show 7pm (kids needed at 5pm)

Sun 3rd July = HERTFORD showat 11.30 (kids needed at 9am) & Sun 3rd July = STEVENAGE show at 3.30 (kids needed at 1pm)

STAGE4sSUMMER 2011 PROJECT:  TOP HAT FRINGE FESTIVAL.

The stage 4s have also been running their own version of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The “Top Hat Fringe Festival” will run from the 17th – 20th June 2011 at the OVO Theatre in St. Albans. Each Top Hat Stage 4 school will only be needed one night and tickets will be available to purchase from Top Hat. Welwyn will perform on Fri 17th at 7pm / Potters Bar on Sat 18th at 1pm / Hertford on Sat 18th at 7pm / Stevenage on Sun 19th at 1pm / S. Albans AM on Sun 19th at 7pm / St. Albans PM on Mon 20th at 7pm.

We also have our fantastic Youth Theatre Production of: RENT happening at the SandPit Theatre in St. Albans on the 23rd.
