TEACHERS:
DRAMA TEACHER: SUZY DUXBURY
Suzy has 8 years experience of working with and teaching children. Since gaining her Diploma in teaching Speech & Drama with Trinity Guildhall, she has taught at private drama schools, state schools and councils. She has taught several workshops and her performance credits include; The White Room at the Royal Court, Jack and the Beanstalk and Alice in Wonderland. Suzy is also an avid costume maker and has made costumes for several local productions from 17th Century dress to the 1950s.
SINGING TEACHER: DUNCAN RUTHERFORD Duncan trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts graduating with an MA in Performance as well as graduating from Bretton Hall College with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre. Duncan's professional credits include: Vocal Coach in ITV's Four Weddibngs, Benny in Waterloo and Judas in Godsp.
DANCE TEACHER: GAIL CONWAY
Gail trained at Rayleigh Dance college on the Teacher Training & performing Arts course. She has ISTD teaching qualifications in ballet, Tap and modern and has been teaching at many dance colleges for several years as well as running her own dance classes. Her performing experience includes backing dancer for 5ive and Steps. She has been working for Top Hat for over 10 years.
TINY TOPPERS TEACHER: LISA COLEMAN
Lisa is now currently training towards Dance BTEC National Diploma at Sheredes School in Hertfordshire. Her performing credits include: Don't Stop Dancing, Joseph, Dame Alice Owen Orchestral Ballet Performance, Let's Dance and mayor's Christmas concert at the Broxbourne Civic Hall. Lisa also works with fellow Top Hat Teacher Gail Conway at Danceways on Saturday mornings and is more than thrilled to be part of the Top Hat family.
